Haslett Home gets A/C for New Bonus Room
The homeowner needed more space for his growing family and decided to build an additional room in his attic but needed a solution to heat and cool it.

The Design
The Homeowner had worked with Benchmark before, using Mitsubishi products in both his summer lakehouse and his free-standing home gym. We made a site visit, evaluated the space, and chose the 21.6 SEER Mitsubishi GL15 system for the new room.
The Installation
The new indoor unit was installed and centered on the wall within the bonus room. A small, unobtrusive 2 and ½ inch penetration was made in the exterior wall to allow the thin refrigerant lines to pass through to an inconspicuous, outdoor line set cover which completely covers and seals the penetration. The lines passed vertically, straight down to the compact Mitsubishi outdoor unit which was mounted on a heavy-duty concrete pad, on-grade, on the East-side of the house. Contact us for more info!
The Benefits
Because of the Mitsubishi Ductless system’s efficiency, the homeowners will save on their monthly energy bills throughout the year. In the summer, they will no longer have to overpay for their air conditioning, because the ductless system only costs about the same as a lightbulb to run.
