Benchmark Installed a 2 ton wall mount indoor unit on an exterior wall of the shop and the near silent outdoor unit on a heavy duty concrete pad. The Indoor unit was equipped with the MHK1 wireless control, which allowed the craftsman to place the thermostat in any location he desired, even inside his home.
The indoor unit was hung high and out of the way to provide the best function and aesthetics. A car port on the exterior wall prevented the Benchmark team from passing refrigerant lines outside in a line set cover. Instead, the lines were run down the interior wall, inside a line set cover, passed through the wall close to the ground and directly into the back of the outdoor unit. The outdoor unit was placed on a heavy duty concrete pad underneath the car port.
Benchmark Installed a 1 ton wall mount indoor unit on an exterior wall of the shop and a compact 1 ton outdoor unit on a wall bracket on the exterior of the woodshop. An MHK1 wireless control was installed on the system, allowing the shop owner to remotely monitor and control the air conditioning system from inside his home.
