The Design
A site visit revealed that the existing window unit was powered by a dedicated 120 V outlet. We chose the new Mitsubishi JP-12, because we were able to efficiently repurpose the existing circuit while providing all the benefits that the Mitsubishi Inverter System has to offer. We removed the existing window unit from the window. This allowed the customer to have use of the window again.
The Installation
We installed the Mitsubishi indoor wall-mount unit up high and out of the way on the west interior wall of the garage with refrigerant lines running inconspicuously through the wall and down a line-set cover into the outdoor condenser which is mounted on a heavy-duty concrete pad.
The Benefits
Without the outdated and inefficient window unit constantly draining excess power, the Mitsubishi wall-mount system was able to provide a comfortable room using an incredibly small amount of power.rs.
